Q For quite some time, controversy has surrounded the inclusion of gender dysphoria as a diagnostic category in the DSM. Gender dysphoria is the case where the person does not feel like belonging to the gender what the society has assigned to him or her or the gender to which the person’s biological sexuality relates to. The diagnosis of gender dysphonia according to the diagnosis of the DSM 5 criteria is related to the different cases where the person feels to be another gender. The person feels to be more like a gender that the person does not relate with biologically. The different factors about the gender dysphonic people are related to the primary and secondary sexual characteristics of the particular person.
